This guide was created with the purpose of preventing and controlling one of the most prevalent diseases in the world. Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases with the highest mortality in the world, directly or indirectly.
Due to the complications in different organs that it produces, the main ones include renal, cardiac, and neurological. We intend that with adequate information and a well-structured action plan, we can both prevent people who are not diagnosed and control people who are diagnosed with diabetes.
This guide will be divided into two parts; the first for people without diabetes mellitus will be useful the first part in which it will focus on prevention, what activities to do, what foods to eat and how often to perform laboratory tests to maintain adequate health. The second part of this guide is focused on people diagnosed with diabetes.
